Oak Crown Post Extension Built In Kent

If you are looking for an extension or a sunroom / conservatory, a vaulted ceiling with a traditional king or queen post gives an open and airy feel, whilst at the same time giving an impressive oak detail to the ceiling.  A crown post can be carved to give it more character and depth - see our carving projects for more inspiration.  The roof on this oak extension is supported by a crown post and the interior has been finished so that the oak collars and details remain visible.  We will post more pictures of the interior once the work has been completed, showing the oak in its final sanded condition.
